After decades of building a respected and successful business in the United States, Tuff Trailer became a trusted name in the boat trailer industry. Founded by Dan Piccolo and his father, the company grew from humble beginnings into an industry leader—recognized for its unwavering commitment to quality craftsmanship, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Following the sale of the business, Dan made a bold and purposeful decision: to carry that same entrepreneurial drive and proven expertise across borders. Relocating to Canada, he reestablished the brand with a renewed vision—combining decades of hands-on experience with modern manufacturing practices tailored to a new market.

Today, 81 Industries proudly continues that legacy. Built on the same core values that defined Tuff Trailer, we design and manufacture premium boat trailers using Canadian equipment and Canadian-sourced materials. While our footprint has expanded, our standards have not—every trailer reflects precision, durability, and pride in workmanship.
